| The PPVX rose 6.0% last week to 1,153 points; the NYSE Arca Oil index added 2.6%. Since the start of 2012, the PPVX, at +26.9% (adjusted currency), is about 23 percentage points higher than the oil index (+3.7%). The top three PPVX titles in 2012 are Woongjin Energy (+59%), ReneSola (+57%), and REC (+56%). The biggest gainers of this week are NeoSolar (+29%) and REC (+24%). The biggest declieners of the week were STR (-18%) and centrotherm photovoltaics (-7%). Total PPVX market capitalization now stands at about EUR20.7 billion ($27.2 billion). |
